Terms of Service

By accessing or using Transpose ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Transpose is an AI-powered content transformation tool that converts LinkedIn posts and Reddit posts (and, optionally, YouTube videos or other user-provided text) into content formatted for X (formerly Twitter). The Service uses large language model technology to generate tweet-style content from user-provided source material. Output is generated automatically and may require review before publishing.

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with third parties

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

Transpose offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Downgrading to a free plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle

Payment processing is handled by Paddle, acting as merchant of record. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Generate spam or bulk unsolicited content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a way that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited activities.

You retain ownership of all source content you submit to the Service (LinkedIn posts, Reddit posts, YouTube video content, other pasted text, attached images, etc.). You grant Transpose a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of generating your requested output.

Generated output is provided to you for your use. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with applicable laws and the terms of third-party platforms where you publish it.

The Transpose brand, logo, interface, and underlying technology are owned by Transpose and may not be copied, modified, or used without our written consent.

The Service uses AI technology to generate content. We make no guarantee that generated content will be:

• Accurate, factually correct, or free of errors
• Suitable for any particular purpose or platform
• Compliant with the guidelines of X, LinkedIn, Reddit, or any other third-party platform
• Free of bias or objectionable material

You are solely responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing it. Transpose is not liable for any consequences arising from publishing AI-generated content.

The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services including:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Paddle (payment processing, as merchant of record)
• Anthropic (AI content generation)
• Supadata (YouTube transcript extraction)

Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any content generated by the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRANSPOSE AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination, we may delete your account data, though some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
